The playschool is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am (7:30am by request) to 5:30 pm
The following time frames are flexible, in order to be responsive to the children's daily needs and interests.
| 8:00 am - 9:15 am | | Settling in, free play |
| 9:15 am - 9:30 am | Circle |
| 9:30 am - 10:00 am | Toileting, washing hands, healthy snack |
| 10:00 am - 12 noon | Nature walk and outdoor play |
| 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm | Lunch |
| 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm | Toileting, washing hands, stories |
| 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm | Afternoon rest/nap |
| 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm | Baking or art activities/nap |
| 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm | Toileting, washing hands, healthy snack |
| 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm | Fingerplays and songs |
| 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm | Outdoor play |
| 5:00 pm - 5:30 pm | Quiet activities and clean-up |
HOLIDAYS
The playschool is closed:
- BC statutory holidays
- March/school break (1 week)
- August/summer break (first 2 weeks)
- December/Christmas break (last 2 weeks)
Please note: Fees are pro-rated for all holidays.
